How she can tell if the marriage is doomed from day one, explained by the Wedding photographer

No one watches more people tie the knot than a wedding photographer.

So it makes sense that they’d know the telltale signs of whether a marriage is built to last – or doomed to fail.

One wedding photographer has revealed the things to look out for if you suspect that the happy couple is headed for divorce.

In a video shared on TikTok, Shayla Herrington spilled the beans.

“One time I was shooting under this wedding photographer, and they told me they can always tell if a couple will last or not, based on three things,” she said.

Shayla added that the photographer in question was something of an expert, saying: “This photographer has been in the industry for 10-15 years so I was really interested to hear their theory on this.”

She went on to detail the tell-tale signs.

“The first indicator is one of the spouses will take, like, more than three family photos without the other spouse. This one kinda makes sense to me, just because you might get a few with your mum and dad, but to kick them out of more than three photos just seems a little suspicious,” she explained.

“The second indicator is the bridesmaids or the groomsmen will avoid talking about the spouse when they’re getting ready or doing toasts or anything,” Shalya went on. “That’s typically because they don’t like them.”

She finished the video by outlining the third and final warning sign.

“The last indicator is that one of the spouses will spend more time with friends or family at the reception rather than their spouse.”

Shayla’s video has been watched over 293,000 times and amassed over 730 comments.

Many people in the comments section found that her observations rang true.

One wrote: “Yep. My EX husband didn’t spend time with me at the wedding and his groomsmen didn’t even say hi to me at all.”

Another concurred: “Yup!! My ex husband wanted to spend time with his brother on our wedding night and not me.”

However, others disagreed, saying that their own experience contradicted Shayla’s hints.

“Married 30 years. Hardly saw him at the wedding. We are confident in each other. No need to cling!” one commented.

“My hubby spent more time with the taco bar than he did me at our wedding,” added another.
