Every once in a while some unexpected events take place and leave us breathless. With this whole Coronavirus kind of thing, it seems like we’ve been cut out of all those moments.
Fortunately, we spend much time on the Internet looking at various videos and articles where we can find out about cherishable moments that people share publicly.
One such occasion was a video which showed one completely unexpected behavior of a mother leopard. The incident captured on camera, will make you feel as if you are right into the Kruger National Part in South Africa.
The lucky visitor who captured the moment
There was one very lucky visitor of the park who had a chance to witness one truly heart-warming unusual activity. It’s about Thinus Delport, a 64-year old woman who went for a visit of the park with her daughters.
The video is a about a leopard mother who is trying to teach her cubs to cross the road safely. She seems to be a very protective mom and a devoted teacher. She acts as if she is aware that the roads in the park can be dangerous from time to time, since there are many vehicles passing by.
So she wants to make sure that her little ones will learn the lecture and be safe once they are ready to move around on their own.
If you take a look at the video, you can see that she is trying to avoid any risks. She is carefully looking around so as to be completely certain that there are no vehicles on the road that will threaten the passengers in any way.
As the leopard mother is making sure that the road is clear so that they can cross the street, the youngsters follow her behind. She is constantly making eye-contact with them. Once they start crossing the road, you can see that one of the cubs stops at the middle of the road. It looks like it’s trying to make his mom go back together.
At the second attempt, the mother fetches him again and all three of them cross the road safely. After that, they disappear from the view of the visitors.
The officials said that these incidents are truly rare. So it’s a good thing that someone made a video that shows us that even a mother leopard can be patient and careful when it’s about the good of her cubs.
