KEVIN HART ON CANCEL CULTURE: ‘STUPIDEST S*** I’VE WITNESSED IN MY 40 YEARS OF LIFE’
On the day before “cancel culture” came for Jimmy Fallon over a twenty-year-old SNL sketch, Kevin Hart sat down with Joe Rogan. Hart of course knows all about hordes of bitter and angry losers coming after you over something as silly as a joke. Fallon should have listen to this interview before emasculating himself and dropping a deuce over Johnny Carson’s legacy as the Tonight Show host.
Jump ahead if to 5:00 if you want, but the entire clip about Dave Chappelle is worth a watch.
[“Cancel culture] is the stupidest s*** that I’ve f***ing witnessed in my forty years of life. The whole idea of, “I can kill you today with a G**-d*** click of a button. I can end your life.” By the way, this is a real feeling that people have. “I’m in control of your life. If I want your life to stop and be over, I’ll cancel you.” And that means you can’t live no more. This is how ridiculous it is.”
This is really simple. Jimmy Fallon put on brown makeup to do a Chris Rock impersonation twenty years ago. Nameless losers on Twitter were offended by it. Three people who were most likely NOT offended? Kevin Hart, Dave Chappelle, and Chris Rock himself. I’m fairly certain The Roots laughed at it too. If you’re a comedian who has been given the job to carry on the legacy of The Tonight Show, YOU SIDE WITH THE F***ING COMEDY. Not have your publicist send out a tweet for you apologizing like a pussy.
This is why Kevin Hart is who he is and Jimmy Fallon sucks.
