King Harris isn’t new to trouble. Despite turning 18 last week, the reality star has been in a lot of controversy throughout the last few years. In 2020, a video clip of King Harris involved in a bathroom altercation went viral. Then, in 2021, King was recorded in another dispute in a parking lot. In the video, King begins arguing with an individual before heading to his car to grab his backpack while asking the unidentified individual, “what you wanna do?” Just a few months ago, King was also filmed at the Waffle House arguing with an employee.
Rapper T.I. recently spoke about King’s behavior on “In da Partments Wit Parlae” for the O.G. Talk The Podcast show. During his interview, the ‘You Don’t Know Me’ rapper acknowledged King has been making the same ‘dumb’ decisions that he was making around his age. T.I. also acknowledged King was a good kid with a good heart, but said he worries about him and was concerned he could end up in jail in he doesn’t clean up his act.
After the news broke, many fans shared disappointment in King’s desire to live the ‘street’ life despite growing up rich with access to endless opportunities. “He wanna act up so bad !!! Be humble and understand you are blessed,” one person stated. Additionally, some individuals took the opportunity to call out T.I. for spending too much time policing his daughters but failing to do the same for his sons.
King responded to the criticism by sharing a video while taking a bubble bath. In the video, the reality star stated, ‘yeah y’all right, I got too much money [….] I’m sorry that a [MF] got caught while I was on my way to vacation. I’m sorry. I thought I was doing what a young [expletive] was supposed to do. I didn’t want to be in there.” King then turned his attention to everyone claiming he’s trying to be gangsta stating, “I didn’t ask for the police to pull me over,” before going into an explicit rant.
The details regarding King’s arrest are currently limited, but we will keep you posted as more information is released.
