We supposedly live in an era with the most freedom. But, of course, that freedom is only reserved for some. With the development of technology over the last few decades, we’re now able to see and hear everything within moments.

The news can travel in seconds, and reach the other side of the planet. Which it did, in George Floyd’s case.

While his death was an incredible injustice, George is only one of many. But he is the face of those who weren’t “fortunate” enough to have witnesses post it on social media, demanding justice. Darnella Frazier shot the entire thing, and now the 17-year old got more than she expected.

Naturally, she’s traumatized after having recorded such an atrocity.

While she did a lot of service because Derek Chauvin, the police who sat on George’s neck, has now been taken into custody. Thanks to the evidence. However, people are cr’iticizing the teen for not having done more. Because that’s where our priorities lie.

She told Now This: “I watched this man die. I was the one that was recording the whole thing. I’ve seen him die. “I posted the video last night, and it just went viral. And everybody’s asking me how do I feel? I don’t know how to feel. ‘Cause it’s so sad, bro. This man was literally right here, 8:00 p.m. yesterday.”

But Darnella has faced some co’ntroversy. People claim now the teen is seeking attention in light of George Floyd’s death. In a Facebook post, she wrote a response to such naysayers and suggested they show appreciation instead of b’ashing her.

We just hope she will recover soon from this trau’ma.
