Rapper Fred The Godson has passed away as he lost his battle with Covid-19.
The rapper was diagnosed weeks ago and unfortunately died at the age of 35. Earlier this month, Fred even took to social media and urged fans to pray for him.’

Fred The Godson, famous also known as Gordo passed away in New York at the age of 35.
Fred’s case was very complicated, as he also suffered from asthma and kidney problem.
According to CDC, “People with moderate to severe asthma may be at higher risk of getting very sick from COVID-19”.
Earlier this month, Fred took to Instagram and shared with his fans the news of his diagnosis and requested everyone to keep him in their prayers.
“I’m in here wit this Corvus 19 sh*t! Please keep me in y’all prayers!!!! #godisgreat,” he wrote.

On April 1, Fred seemed to be doing okay as he posted a photo of himself wearing a mask and looking healthy.
The rapper is survived by his wife LeAnn Jemmott, and two children. While Fred was fighting the deadly virus, his wife LeAnn was keeping fans updated on his health condition.
On April 10 she wrote: “He is fighting and he is winning. He has no sign of infection. His heart is strong and working well. His kidneys have been affected, but as of today, he has started dialysis to clean the toxins out of his blood. Fred is going to make it. God is good!”
