Diamond Of ‘Diamond & Silk’ Passes Away, Launch Campaign To Raise Funds

Today the republican party mourns the loss of one of its most outspoken supporters, Ineitha Lynnette Hardaway, also known as Diamond of the duo “Diamond and Silk.” According to The Daily Beast, Diamond was around the age of 51.

Donald Trump made the announcement on his social media platform Truth Social where he informed his followers of Diamond’s passing, calling her passing “Really bad news for Republicans and frankly, ALL Americans. According to Donald Trump, Diamond passed away at her home in North Carolina, and her partner in crime, Silk, was by her side.  The cause of Diamond’s passing has not been released. However, Donald Trump believes her big and precious heart probably gave out.

The official Twitter account of Diamond and Silk also announced her passing, stating, “The World just lost a True Angel and Warrior Patriot for Freedom, Love, and Humanity!” In addition, Diamond’s family has launched a fundraiser on a platform similar to GoFundMe called, GiveSendGo. The campaign has raised over $10K and nearly 4,000 prayers. All funds will be collected by Diamond’s sister, Herneitha Rochelle Hardaway Richardson. The campaign page does not list how the funds raised will be utilized.

Ineitha Lynnette Hardaway and Herneitha Rochelle Hardaway Richardson, known as Diamond and Silk, became household names during Trump’s 2016 Presidential Election. The duo was known for their political commentary and vlog. Following the 2016 election, Diamond and Silk continued to build their awareness by speaking at rallies, conducting interviews, and constantly criticizing the democratic party and progressives.

Most recently, the duo campaigned on Twitter for former President Donald Trump to become the Republican House Speaker after the party struggled to elect a speaker last week. In November of 2022, Silk took to social media to ask for prayers for Diamond as she was battling an unknown illness. At the time of the announcement, some reporters began speculating the outspoken Trump supporter was fighting COVID. However, this information was never confirmed.
