As I walked into the kitchen, I was greeted by a pleasant surprise. My wife was standing by the stove, wearing only the t-shirt she normally slept in. She was preparing our usual breakfast of soft-boiled eggs and toast. I couldn’t believe my ears. Was I still dreaming, or was this really happening? Not wanting to miss the opportunity, I quickly wrapped my arms around her and gave it my all, right there on the kitchen table.
After our impromptu romantic encounter, my wife simply said “thanks” and returned to the stove, her t-shirt still around her neck. I was happy but also a bit puzzled. What had just happened? I asked her, “What was that all about?”
