The Refrigerator Revenge

A man had been suspecting his wife of cheating on him, so he decided to come home early from work one day to catch her in the act. As he entered the house, his wife greeted him at the door, wearing a bathrobe and looking disheveled.

“Where is he?” the man demanded, his anger boiling over. “Where’s the guy who’s been sleeping with you?” His wife played dumb, denying any knowledge of what he was talking about.

Undeterred, the man tore the house apart, searching for any sign of the alleged lover. Finally, he spotted a man sitting in a Volkswagen outside. Convinced he had found the culprit, the man’s rage reached new heights.

In a fit of fury, he picked up the refrigerator and hurled it out the window, striking the Volkswagen. But his anger came at a cost – he suffered a heart attack and died on the spot.

When the man arrived at the gates of Heaven, St. Peter asked him why he was there. The man explained the situation, and St. Peter, unimpressed, sent him to hell.

A few minutes later, another man appeared at the gates. St. Peter asked him what he was doing there, and the man explained that he had been sitting in his Volkswagen when someone threw a refrigerator at him.

St. Peter, recognizing the man as the alleged lover, sent him to hell as well. A few minutes later, a third man appeared at the gates, looking confused.

“I’m not sure why I’m here,” he said, scratching his head. “I was just sitting in this refrigerator, minding my own business…”
