I’ll never forget the harrowing experience I had with a cabbie who seemed to have a complete disregard for traffic rules and safety. As we sped through the streets, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of unease and worry for my life.
The cabbie’s response to my concerns only added to my anxiety. When I asked him to slow down as we approached a yellow light, he simply replied, “Don’t worry about it. All of my buddies drive this way.” I was shocked by his cavalier attitude and lack of concern for our safety.
As we continued to speed through the streets, I couldn’t help but wonder if this cabbie had any regard for human life. When we approached a red light, he sped through the intersection once again, leaving me feeling terrified and helpless.
I pleaded with him to drive more carefully, but he simply repeated his previous response, “Don’t worry about it. All of my buddies drive this way and we have been fine.” I was starting to lose hope and wondered if I would make it to my destination in one piece.
But then, something unexpected happened. As we approached a green light, the cabbie suddenly screeched to a dead stop. I was taken aback and asked him, “Why are you stopped at a green light?”
