Diana had spent all her savings on buying her son’s suit for the wedding, and she couldn’t wait to see his reaction when she surprised him at home

Arnold is very angry when he sees his mum at his wedding because he told her not to come. A toast is made and a gift is given to him. Arnold starts to cry and falls to his knees right away.

“Look, someone is leaving the café with a smile on their face.” Look at how red she is!” Her boss said this as laughter echoed through the restaurant kitchen.

“Yes, Miss Diana, we will be there. When does the wedding start?” A coworker asked as a lot of people crowded around Diana, who was blushing so badly.

“This Sunday at 11 a.m.” I hope to see all of you at the church on Sunday.

The woman in her 60s worked as a cleaner at the café. She took half a day off to find Arnold, her only son, the best wedding suit. She looked for the blue suit for a long time. She didn’t care that it was pretty pricey. She thought, “My boy should look his best!”

Diana had saved up all her money to buy her son a suit, and she couldn’t wait to see how he would react when she surprised him at home…

“I can’t wait for him to get married!” Diana had an idea. Since Arnold told her he was going to marry his girlfriend Masha, she couldn’t wait for this moment to come.

“Son, take a look at this!” Diana walked into their house with a suit in her hand and a huge smile on her face. “This is something I know you’ll love!” Please try it on. If there was something wrong with the fit, the seller told me I could still return it.

Arnold got up to throw away the gift he thought his mom gave him because it was “garbage,” but her voice on the mic stopped him.

The suit was in a bag. She took it out and showed Arnold. Arnold frowned. He wasn’t happy.

“This isn’t just any suit I’m wearing to my wedding.” If I want to marry a rich man’s daughter, I should look my best. That cheap suit would make me look bad.

It began to rain tears in Diana’s eyes. She said she was fine, but her son’s words made her stop talking. She felt sad and let down, and her heart hurt.

But Arnold’s words, “One more thing…” broke her heart more than anything else. Please don’t come to my wedding. The whole rich family of my fiancée will be there. You shouldn’t be there in your dirty clothes because it will make me look bad. I don’t want to have to tell people you’re a cleaner every time they ask.

Diana could not hold back her tears any longer. She quickly went to her room and locked the door. That day, she cried all day because she was so hurt. Arnold was busy getting ready for the wedding, so he didn’t have time to check on her. There was a party in two days.

The long-awaited big day for Arnold was Sunday. Diana wouldn’t miss such a beautiful moment, even though her son told her not to. She got herself together, went through her closet, and chose the most beautiful dress she had. Then she got ready.

You’re too young to understand what this mother wants and how much pain she is in. I have to be there for your big day, son. She told herself out loud, “I’m coming,” as she looked at herself in the mirror.

Diana brought an old clay vase that she planned to give to her son as a present. People from work and her boss were already at the church when she got there. For a moment, she forgot that Arnold had asked her not to go to his wedding because she was happy.

“Hi there, Miss Diana! Her boss told her, “I’m sure you’re the happiest mum in the world!”

She smiled and brought in the heavy gift box. She saw the bride and groom kiss and then swap rings. Diana couldn’t hold back her tears, not even when she tried. She was very happy. She said, “I did it!”

After the wedding, there was a fancy celebration. A lot of well-off people came to the venue to meet the newlyweds. Arnold was shocked when he saw his mum coming up behind him. He looked down his nose in disgust. “Why did she come?” He thought, “I told her not to ruin my day!”

“Well done, sweetheart! You two look great! Thanks a lot!” Diana told her son this as she gave him the gift.

Arnold turned around and saw that a picture was being taken. Rather than making a fuss, he took his mother’s gift with a shy smile. He opened the box just a little and saw the vase inside. “She gave me an old vase that was lying around the house?” He moaned, “How cheap!”

Arnold got up to throw away the gift he thought his mom gave him because it was “garbage,” but her voice on the mic stopped him. Arnold turned pale with shock. He had no idea that day would bring out a 25-year-old secret she had been hiding from him.

Diana began, “Twenty-five years ago, just minutes before my best friend died…” She quickly looked up at the ceiling as tears began to form in her eyes.

“She gave me an old vase and told me to give it to her son on his wedding day.” She wanted her son to have it because it was a gift from her parents who had died.

Arnold didn’t get what his mum was saying.

“When she died, I took her little boy in and raised him as my own.” Due to my desire to give all of my time and love to my child, I never got married. Son, it’s time to see what your mother left you in that box. Happy drinking!” Arnold looked at the vase in shock as Diana raised a glass for a toast.

His mind was blown. There were wads of cash inside the old clay vase. He fell to his knees with tears streaming from his eyes.

The woman Arnold felt bad about wasn’t his birth mother; it was the person who gave up everything to raise him. He saw her as more than a mother. She saved him after he was left without a family and became his guardian angel.

“I kept the promise I made to my friend who died.” Son, I’m glad for you. Be careful, and God bless you!” Diana was done. Arnold couldn’t let her leave the way she was. She walked towards the door. He ran after her quickly and blocked her path.

“I’m sorry, Mom.” Your love for me is worth a lot. I’m sorry I caused you pain. I was never a good son, but you were always a great mum. Why didn’t you tell me I was alone? Don’t leave me, please. It’s not something I want to happen again.

She gave Arnold a hug, and the two of them went back to the stage, where the groom danced with his mother.

When he whispered, “I love you, mom!” Diana smiled and cried tears of happiness.
