Angelina Jolie has made a shocking revelation about her experience filming the 1999 thriller, The Bone Collector. In a candid interview, Jolie confessed that her most memorable and intimate film experience was with none other than her co-star, Denzel Washington.
The Bone Collector tells the story of Amelia Donaghy, a cop played by Jolie, who teams up with forensics expert Lincoln Rhyme, played by Washington, to capture a serial killer. What makes this film unique is that Washington’s character is quadriplegic, forcing Jolie and Washington to build romance between their characters in unconventional ways.
Jolie has revealed that the experience of “seducing someone with your mind” was a huge turn-on for her. She recalled a particular scene where she uses smell and intellect to seduce Lincoln, describing it as the “best sex I ever had.”
However, Jolie’s experience filming The Bone Collector wasn’t all smooth sailing. She has spoken about the loneliness and self-doubt she felt during filming, admitting that she went “a bit nuts” and felt like she was “not capable” of leading the film.
Despite the challenges, Jolie’s performance in The Bone Collector earned her praise from critics. Although the film itself received mixed reviews, Jolie’s intimate and emotional portrayal of Amelia Donaghy has become one of the most memorable aspects of the film.
