People don’t like ABC’s “The View” because it is known for its heated arguments and rude comments. Critics say that the hosts put their own political goals ahead of having productive conversations. Even though the show tries to get people to watch by making controversial comments and fights, its future is still unknown, especially since Disney wants to get out of the channel that isn’t doing well.
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, a famous pop culture star, made fun of Joy Behar, one of The View’s co-hosts, in a recent interview on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. The comments got a lot of attention. When asked about her relationships with other celebrities, Snooki told Cohen exactly what she thought about Behar, which caught Cohen off guard.
Snooki said that Behar was the “rudest celebrity” she had met in the 14 years since she became famous on “Jersey Shore.”
Cohen looked surprised, so he asked Snooki again if Behar was being “rude” to her.
“Joy was so mean to me,” the MTV star said right away.
Cohen tried harder because he wanted to know more. “She sat me down in the bathroom!” Then Snooki said, “And said, ‘You’re not Italian!'”
The host gasped right away, which made Snooki, 35, say it again.
After that, Cohen asked how the co-host of “Messyness” reacted during the alleged exchange. “I replied, ‘OK, ma’am,'” Snooki said.
Snooki wouldn’t say when she was rude to Behar, but in early 2011, she put up a video making fun of The View star. TMZ caught the now-deleted video of Snooki and her best friend Farley acting like they were older Jewish women. The video showed Snooki playing “Joy B” and talking about how “trashy” she was.
The two called Behar a “Italian wannabe” and made fun of her for not liking the cast of “Jersey Shore,” saying that kids like them wrecked her childhood during “the Great Depression.”
Later, the video was taken down because, as Snooki put it, too many people were offended by it.
