A peaceful night’s sleep was disrupted at 3 o’clock in the morning by a sudden, jarring noise. A woman and a man, who had been sleeping together, were caught off guard. The woman’s eyes snapped open, and she sat up with a start, her heart racing with alarm.
She turned to the man and exclaimed, “Oh no, that must be my husband!” The man’s eyes widened in panic as he leapt out of bed. Without hesitation, he made a frantic dash for the window and hurled himself out into the night.
His naked body collided with the hard ground, and he crashed through a thorn bush. Despite the pain and shock, he quickly scrambled to his feet and sprinted towards his car. Just a few minutes later, he returned, his voice shaking with anger.
“I’m your husband!” he shouted. But before he could finish, the woman shot back, “Then why were you running?” The man’s face turned bright red as he realized his mistake.
