Four married men decided to spend the day fishing together. As they cast their lines into the water, their conversation turned to their wives and what they had to do to earn some time on the lake.
The first guy mentioned that he had promised his wife he would paint every room in the house the following weekend. The second guy chimed in, saying he had agreed to build a new deck for the pool. The third guy boasted that he had promised to remodel the kitchen.
As the conversation continued, the fourth guy remained quiet. His friends noticed his silence and asked him what he had to do to get out of the house that morning. The fourth guy smiled mischievously and said he had simply set his alarm clock for 5:30 am.
When it went off, he turned it off, nudged his wife, and said, “Fishing or sex?” His wife replied, “Wear a sweater.” The other three guys were stunned, impressed by the fourth guy’s cleverness.
