A newspaper wrote about the birth of the brunette in the picture on July 1, 1967, in Ladysmith, British Columbia. Her mother was a cook and all-around handywoman. It was the first baby born in the 100th year.
She went on to have a wonderful life after another time when she was in the right place at the right time. But first she had to get through a traumatic youth of being abused and violent.
When they had her, her parents were 17 and 19 years old, and they still went out sometimes. A girl who worked as her babysitter raped her for about a year when she was between the ages of 4 and 8.
The babysitter made the girl play inappropriate games when she was very young, which is what is meant by “sexualized.” Someone taking care of her told her one day that Santa Claus would not come that year because she is a “bad girl.”
“I cried and ran after her, calling her a liar…” and stabbed her in the chest with a pen with candy-cane stripes,” she wrote in her autobiography. “I screamed through tears, ‘I hope you die!'”
The female attacker died in a car accident soon after graduating. The girl thought it was her fault when she heard the news. She thought she had some kind of superpower. She thought about this all the time for “her whole young life” and finally told her parents about it.
The unstable situation between her parents would also make her act out. She once tried to draw attention away from the fight between her and her husband by telling her younger brother to hide while she told everyone that he was missing.
Bad things would happen to her because of her father. Because she wouldn’t let him have her kittens in the house, he put them in a paper bag and threw them into the ocean to kill them. “That night, I felt like I died too,” she says.
She was raped twice between the ages of 12 and 14, and her boyfriend threw her out of a moving car. She punched her dad one time to stop him from hitting her mom more.
When the young brunette was seen on a jumbotron at a football game, she was called “Blue Zone Girl.” But soon, everyone would know her real name, Pamela Anderson.
A beer company wanted to hire her as a spokesmodel, which led to a shoot for Playboy. She became famous when she played CJ on “Baywatch,” but her big break came when she played Amy on “Home Improvement.”
Her quick-fire relationship with drummer Tommy Lee ended with a wedding on the beach in Cancun, Mexico, in 1995. She wore a white string bikini and he wore shorts. They had two kids named Dylan Jagger and Brandon Thomas.
Someone stole the video they took on their vacation and sold it as one of the first sex tapes on the internet. Even though the star hasn’t seen the tape, she has felt what it does. In her writing, she said that it “ruined lives,” beginning with their relationship.
Lee was found guilty of spouse abuse and sent to jail for four months. They got a divorce in 1998. She tried to get full custody of the kids from him in 2012, saying that he hurt them mentally and physically.
Anderson’s career has taken a big turn for the better. She has changed the story about her that the media told about her by writing a biography called “Love, Pamela” and appearing in a Netflix documentary that goes with it.
Anderson found a “healing space” with its “crazy calmness” when she went back to her coastal hometown of Ladysmith. She feels safe on the island because there aren’t many reporters there. She lives with her five dogs by herself.
She made her home in her grandparents’ old barn and said, “I live a more romantic life now that I’m alone than I did when I was in relationships.”
The kind person always runs through the waves on the beach next to her house. In her free time, she works in her 15,000-square-foot vegetable and rose yard and makes pottery. “I’m very clever.” “I had no idea,” she said.
In a January 2023 interview with People, she said that she would like to share her life with someone, but that she usually ended up meeting the wants of her partner. After Lee, she married Kid Rock and then twice to Rick Salomon, though one of those marriages was later thrown out.
Dan Hayhurst and she were married for only a few months before they split up in 2021. The “V.I.P.” star has learned that a man doesn’t have to bring her roses:
“I just put in one hundred rose bushes.” They’re my favorite flowers, and I can get them whenever I want.
In August 2023, she told Elle that her best time was early in the morning. Anderson writes a newsletter during this time, but she joked that she does it to take her mind off of writing long, confusing emails to her boys.
She used to go to parties all the time, but now she gardens and writes in the mornings instead. Similarly, her signature beauty look has changed into something else.

She had thick brows, big blonde hair, and heavy eye makeup. She wore tiny clothes that she called “wild and uninhibited.” Anderson also said:
“I don’t know if it was a way to protect myself or what.” “I just thought, ‘I’m going to enjoy myself.'”
She has had a more simple makeup style for the past few years, and sometimes it looks like she isn’t even wearing makeup. After Alexis Vogel, her beauty artist, died, she changed the way she did things. She told me:
“She was great.” Since then, I’ve felt like not wearing makeup is better for me without Alexis.
While the star may have given up on her signature style, a new group of people have found her Y2K style and #Pamcore trends on TikTok all the time.
“Freeing, fun, and a little rebellious too,” the animal lover says of her new outfit. She feels “rooted for” when she looks in the mirror. Anderson says she’s doing well.
