In March 2020, Valerie Paters’ life took a dramatic turn when she was involved in a devastating accident with a semi-truck. Her car was crushed, and she suffered severe injuries that left medical responders doubting her chances of survival.
At the hospital, Valerie’s family was given the grim news that her survival was unlikely. Despite the bleak prognosis, her loved ones, along with members of her church, rallied together in prayer, seeking divine intervention.
Valerie’s sister, Cheryl, refused to give up hope, clinging to Psalm 118:17, which declares, “I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done.” Little did Cheryl know that her prayers would be answered in a miraculous way.
As Valerie’s loved ones prayed for her recovery, she underwent an extraordinary experience. She claims to have ascended to Heaven, where she was enveloped in a brilliant light. Upon opening her eyes, she was met with a warm smile from Jesus Himself.
Valerie recalls feeling an overwhelming sense of emotion from Jesus, as if she had finally found her true home. “I felt like I was finally homeā¦ like I stepped into, finally, I belong,” she shared.
Jesus’ love for her was unconditional, Valerie emphasized. “He just wants me,” she said. “It wasn’t anything that I did for Him. It wasn’t my performance. Nothing. It was just me.” Valerie’s words were a testament to the profound love and acceptance she experienced in Heaven.
Valerie’s journey didn’t end there. Jesus instructed her to return to Earth, a command that left her with a newfound sense of purpose. Her miraculous story is a testament to the power of faith and the unconditional love of Jesus.
