Julian Tupan, a biologist with the Santo Antonio Energy firm, claims that very little is known about the limbless, lungless frogs.
Despite their unusual appearance, the ‘man-acondas’ are not dangerous and are not likely to act aggressively. According to Tupan, the creatures probably feed on small fish and worms, but more research is needed to confirm this theory. The ‘man-acondas’ also breathe through their skin, but the exact mechanism of their respiratory system is still unknown.
The discovery of the ‘man-acondas’ has sparked widespread interest and curiosity. The creatures have been extensively photographed, and their images have been shared widely on social media.
