A Wild Awakening: From Heaven’s Gate to a Messy Reality

Ralph had just settled into bed, shared a tender kiss with his wife, and drifted off into a deep slumber. Little did he know, his peaceful night’s sleep was about to take a dramatic turn.

When Ralph opened his eyes, he found himself standing before the Pearly Gates, face to face with St. Peter. The stern expression on St. Peter’s face delivered the shocking news: Ralph had passed away in his sleep.

Ralph was stunned, refusing to accept his fate. He begged St. Peter to send him back, citing all the things he still wanted to experience in life. St. Peter, seemingly sympathetic, presented Ralph with an unusual offer: he could return to Earth, but with a twist – he would have to come back as either a fish or a hen.

Ralph quickly dismissed the idea of being a fish, and the thought of being a hen seemed almost appealing. He envisioned a peaceful existence, pecking at the ground, free from stress. So, he made his choice: he would return as a hen.

The next thing Ralph knew, he was covered in feathers, clucking away, and pecking at the ground. A friendly rooster strolled by, introducing himself and asking about Ralph’s first day as a hen. Ralph shared his excitement but also expressed a strange feeling – as if he were about to explode.

The rooster calmly explained that Ralph was ovulating and needed to lay an egg. With some guidance, Ralph successfully laid not one, but two eggs, and was overcome with emotion as he experienced the joys of motherhood.

Just as Ralph was about to lay his third egg, he felt a sudden smack on the back of his head. His wife’s frantic voice pierced his ears, “Wake up, Ralph! You’re messing the bed!” Ralph’s wild adventure had come to an abrupt end, and he was back in his own bed, facing a very different reality.
