A Mother’s Instinct Saves Her Son’s Life

As a new mother, it’s natural to feel anxious and unsure about your baby’s health. But sometimes, that intuition can be a lifesaver. One mother’s story is a chilling reminder of the importance of trusting your instincts.

When her four-day-old son was breathing strangely, she couldn’t quite put her finger on what was wrong. Despite her concerns, her pediatrician dismissed her worries, attributing them to typical new-mom anxiety. But the mother’s gut feeling persisted.

The next day, she took her son to the emergency room, still unable to explain what was bothering her. The medical staff, however, quickly discovered that her son’s oxygen levels were alarmingly low, at just 72. He ended up requiring supplemental oxygen at home for two months.

The mother was overwhelmed with emotion, but a nurse’s words of reassurance stuck with her: “Mom instinct is real, and I’ve seen it save a lot of kids’ lives.” This harrowing experience serves as a powerful reminder to trust your instincts, especially when it comes to your child’s health.
